The care team works hard to make sure that the needs of our church family are met. They work on house projects for church members, bring people meals, clean up landscaping, and a whole host of other things to help show Christs sacrificial love. The Women’s Ministry team helps to make sure that women are thriving and being cared for in every area of life. Volunteers help lead bible studies to equip women to understand God’s word. They also help to lead vibrant prayer groups that give the women of Redeemer space to pray for one another. Our Events Planning Team makes sure that all church wide events are planned well and executed smoothly. They help put together fun events like the Church Picnic, Treat Street, and Redeemers Chili Cook Off . Some people may not realize how much administration goes into running a church. There are receipts to be filed, payroll to be completed and a whole host of administrative tasks. The Finances Team works hard to make sure that the everyday financial business of the church gets taken care of and done right. Attention to detail and willingness to serve behind the scenes are important to this team. Being friendly on Sunday mornings is an important way we can show Gods love to our community. Our Guest Services team makes sure that every visitor to Redeemer Church is met with a smiling face. These volunteers connect with newcomers making them feel welcome and seen. Student Ministry Team volunteers get to disciple the next generation of Christians and have a lot of fun at the same time! These volunteers get to serve middle and high school students by leading games, explaining scripture passages, facilitating group discussion, and generally pouring into the lives of Redeemer students. If you are a musician then the Worship Team is probably the place for you! Redeemer’s Worship Team helps the entire church focus on Jesus Christ every Sunday, giving him praise for who he is and what he has done. We are committed to Christ centered, God honoring, dynamic worship. The Emergency Response Team ensures the safety of church attenders whenever the gathers together. This team takes its missions seriously and ensures every volunteer is well trained and equipped for the task. It takes a lot of technical skill to produce our Sunday am Worship Services. A/V team volunteers edit and run slides, mix the worship set for the room and livestream, as well as operate cameras for the livestream. Working in the background, this team is integral to helping the congregation focus on God. At Redeemer we believe that small groups are the best venue for pastoral care and practical discipleship. Small group leaders throughout our church are helping their church family through the valleys and mountaintops of the Christian life. We need mature and Godly believers to be hospitable and open their home to a a regular in home group. We also need mature believers who can lead discussion and help facilitate mutual encouragement and exhortation. If you are good with your hands and like endless projects this is probably the team for you! It takes a lot of work to manage and upkeep a large building. Members of this team are serving their church family by doing everything from laying tile to replacing lightbulbs, and generally making sure the building functions at its best. “And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers” (Acts 2:42). Food has always been an important part of church life! Our Hospitality team will prepare and serve food for larger church events (Redeemer Luncheons, Leadership trainings etc.). Global Missions is Christ’s charge to the church (you and me)! The G.O. Team vets missionaries, ensuring that our church stays focused on Unreached People Groups*. Jesus himself cared a lot about kids. There are clear accounts in the gospels of Jesus rebuking his disciples for not letting children come to him for prayer and blessing. Pouring into the little hearts and souls of the kids at Redeemer Church is a high calling. Children’s Ministry volunteers teach lessons, lead games, help kids memorize scripture and get to help disciple the next generation of Christians.
